This is white hot fire. I have no idea how a game gets onto steam, but I would totally buy it on steam in a heartbeat.

Great Game, you nailed the pixelart and the gamedesign is perfect. Every level is unique and interesting. Keep up the good work :)

Linux version does not run. Unknown file type on Mint 22.1 Xia. Planning to run through Wine instead.

This game is a wonder of the modern age, but I can't get above 1 star for the life of me. A really fun challenge!

Absolute masterpiece, had a blast!

i'm lowkey shocking my snail rn

Amazing art and music! Reminds me of freeware games from the 2000s like Icy Tower.

Can't wait for the multiplayer, it will really take the game to the next level (hoping you will be able to draw cards from singleplayer enemies in MP).

I just think that Red Daniel's gimmick of creating spotlights is very frustrating, maybe double the radius or change the mechanic completely idk.

Would really love to playtest the MP when it's available, need more of the game after beating all the tournaments.

I died laughing at the final boss! Great game cannot wait for a steam release!

I'm pumped to check out this year's Snailshock Grand Supreme Tournament - I think I might have what it takes!

You look like the type of person who'd enjoy this jam: WOW JAM

They have a very interesting platform and are even offering prizes xD

Thanks for this game, it's an absolute banger and I'm having a ton of fun with it! I will purchase it day one on Steam then go for 100% completion.

Is there any possibility that this game gets released to mac as well?

(+2)

The upcoming Steam release will for sure do! It is just too bothersome at the moment to try and maintain a mac version for itch.io release, sorry!

why does this game have processes that run in the background even when you exit the game?

(+2)

what's the name of the process?

For the House Again level, it'd be nice for smaller snails to fall into the small holes. Great game btw, it has the perfect progression and aesthetics.

Feels wrong to play it for free. Goated

for fri??

this is so fucking awesome

I nearly gave myself an aneurysm trying to get all the stars, but I finally did it. A really fresh take on pool games, I really hope there's more to come in the Steam release!

Holy this is epic

Playing it on the Steam Deck (OLED) as we speak. It's a golden find. Has the potential to be VoA (Verified on Arrival).

A couple of things to note though:

1. There's a weird "Windowed mode" bug whenever I switch back from fullscreen (1280x800) to windowed mode (1024x768). A chunk of the left and right side of the screen cannot be accesed with the mouse cursor unless in fullscreen (as evidenced by the white dot).

2. The fullscreen mode itself is (in my opinion) poorly aliased on a 16:10 800p screen using some kind of NNI (Nearest Neighbour Interpolation) variant. Could be just an overlooked and/or intentional detail, but worth noting anyway.

3. The game is strictly mouse only. I'm not saying "controller support" right away, but it can't even be navigated with a keyboard. Mapping a custom bind configuration in Steam is one thing, but the old [Arrows/ZXC] config could come in handy for the ease of use of the navigational aspects more than anything. Like pressing 1, 2 or 3 to bring up the cards right away before clicking on the snails.

But that's just me and my suggestions. It's your game. Do what you think is best. I'm just happy I can live to play it. Don't take my points as being a Picky Pete.

cute

(+2)

hey! please add a colorblind mode! i can't really play the glorb zibnus stage because the snails are too hard to differentiate :(

(+6)

Thanks for the heads up! Will do so! The game was initially just made for a few friends and I wasn't expecting it to blow up like this, so sorry for any oversights!

wdym you weren't expecting it to blow up, this game is awesome

One of the most fun games I've played in a while, will definetely buy it on Steam!
P.S. Oroshibu can you share that green glob dude animation when I score?? IT'S SO COOL

(+11)

sure

Thank you!!!

LMAO

(+1)

😭😭😭😂😂

I love it!

(+2)

very neat game, though i found it very easy to cheese 3 stars out of most levels by pinning the main cue and painting one of my own snails white as the rival npc will tend to use the pinned snail still

(+2)

This is actually such a smart play omg

Nail is great stalling but can backfire. The ghost card also works on the white snail and the AI will often keep firing at full power into pockets for +10 score with 0 risk.

Hi! We played your game on stream and really enjoyed it!

The game is great fun, but found a bug. The boss refused to make a move after the cue snail fell in a hole.

Screenshot of where the game is stuck now.

noted. thanks you for the report!

is that Dr. House T_T

This is SO GOOD!! Very addicting and challenging. Love the art, animations, sound effects, etc. It's got it all.

(+1)

Tried out the new patch for a few rounds. The visual helper is a great addition and all the new gnomes look nice. All my 100% progress also got saved so thanks for that, it works lol.

(+1)(-1)

Love the game! I really like the artstyle and how goofy it is with the characters, house caught me off guard

Could there be a possible mode added that is somewhat like a rougelike? like you start off with basic cards or abilities, and have to beat opponents to get new abilities or cards added to your hands, then finally like a hard boss based around a gimmick like the standard characters, could add some more replayability for when it comes to steam

that would be awesome, like Balatro
