Hi, I believe I encountered a bug when I exited the window early while it was on the "game by" loading screen. Previously the game worked perfectly but now it will not proceed past that loading screen. Deleting the game folder and re-downloading didn't fix it, so I'm wondering if something happened to the save. Could you tell me where the save is typically located? Thanks!
this is amazingly high quality, honestly one of the best games i've played in a long time. front-to-back you got it right. love the art direction and all the details, especially love the squelchy sound when you're pulling back on the cue snail. seriously, well done on this! i will buy it on paid release.
Amazing art and music! Reminds me of freeware games from the 2000s like Icy Tower.
Can't wait for the multiplayer, it will really take the game to the next level (hoping you will be able to draw cards from singleplayer enemies in MP).
I just think that Red Daniel's gimmick of creating spotlights is very frustrating, maybe double the radius or change the mechanic completely idk.
Would really love to playtest the MP when it's available, need more of the game after beating all the tournaments.
For the House Again level, it'd be nice for smaller snails to fall into the small holes. Great game btw, it has the perfect progression and aesthetics.
I nearly gave myself an aneurysm trying to get all the stars, but I finally did it. A really fresh take on pool games, I really hope there's more to come in the Steam release!
Playing it on the Steam Deck (OLED) as we speak. It's a golden find. Has the potential to be VoA (Verified on Arrival).
A couple of things to note though:
1. There's a weird "Windowed mode" bug whenever I switch back from fullscreen (1280x800) to windowed mode (1024x768). A chunk of the left and right side of the screen cannot be accesed with the mouse cursor unless in fullscreen (as evidenced by the white dot).
2. The fullscreen mode itself is (in my opinion) poorly aliased on a 16:10 800p screen using some kind of NNI (Nearest Neighbour Interpolation) variant. Could be just an overlooked and/or intentional detail, but worth noting anyway.
3. The game is strictly mouse only. I'm not saying "controller support" right away, but it can't even be navigated with a keyboard. Mapping a custom bind configuration in Steam is one thing, but the old [Arrows/ZXC] config could come in handy for the ease of use of the navigational aspects more than anything. Like pressing 1, 2 or 3 to bring up the cards right away before clicking on the snails.
But that's just me and my suggestions. It's your game. Do what you think is best. I'm just happy I can live to play it. Don't take my points as being a Picky Pete.
Thanks for the heads up! Will do so! The game was initially just made for a few friends and I wasn't expecting it to blow up like this, so sorry for any oversights!

The House Always Wins...
This is white hot fire. I have no idea how a game gets onto steam, but I would totally buy it on steam in a heartbeat.
the fee to put a game on steam is $100 from what i've heard, so i wouldn't bet on it unless the dev gets in contact with a publisher
Great Game, you nailed the pixelart and the gamedesign is perfect. Every level is unique and interesting. Keep up the good work :)
Linux version does not run. Unknown file type on Mint 22.1 Xia. Planning to run through Wine instead.
This game is a wonder of the modern age, but I can't get above 1 star for the life of me. A really fun challenge!
Absolute masterpiece, had a blast!
i'm lowkey shocking my snail rn

cool combination of roguelike card and snooker!

any chance this game gets mobile support?
for some reason the game is just stuck on "game by Oroshibu" and nothing happens. any help?
when will the steam version be released and at what price?
thank you for making this super awesome game!!
Thanks for this game, it's an absolute banger and I'm having a ton of fun with it! I will purchase it day one on Steam then go for 100% completion.
Is there any possibility that this game gets released to mac as well?
The upcoming Steam release will for sure do! It is just too bothersome at the moment to try and maintain a mac version for itch.io release, sorry!
why does this game have processes that run in the background even when you exit the game?
what's the name of the process?
