Thanks for this game, it's an absolute banger and I'm having a ton of fun with it! I will purchase it day one on Steam then go for 100% completion.

Is there any possibility that this game gets released to mac as well?

(+1)

The upcoming Steam release will for sure do! It is just too bothersome at the moment to try and maintain a mac version for itch.io release, sorry!

(+1)(-1)

why does this game have processes that run in the background even when you exit the game?

(+2)

what's the name of the process?

For the House Again level, it'd be nice for smaller snails to fall into the small holes. Great game btw, it has the perfect progression and aesthetics.

Feels wrong to play it for free. Goated

for fri??

(+1)

this is so fucking awesome

I nearly gave myself an aneurysm trying to get all the stars, but I finally did it. A really fresh take on pool games, I really hope there's more to come in the Steam release!

Holy this is epic

Playing it on the Steam Deck (OLED) as we speak. It's a golden find. Has the potential to be VoA (Verified on Arrival).

A couple of things to note though:

1. There's a weird "Windowed mode" bug whenever I switch back from fullscreen (1280x800) to windowed mode (1024x768). A chunk of the left and right side of the screen cannot be accesed with the mouse cursor unless in fullscreen (as evidenced by the white dot).

2. The fullscreen mode itself is (in my opinion) poorly aliased on a 16:10 800p screen using some kind of NNI (Nearest Neighbour Interpolation) variant. Could be just an overlooked and/or intentional detail, but worth noting anyway.

3. The game is strictly mouse only. I'm not saying "controller support" right away, but it can't even be navigated with a keyboard. Mapping a custom bind configuration in Steam is one thing, but the old [Arrows/ZXC] config could come in handy for the ease of use of the navigational aspects more than anything. Like pressing 1, 2 or 3 to bring up the cards right away before clicking on the snails.

But that's just me and my suggestions. It's your game. Do what you think is best. I'm just happy I can live to play it. Don't take my points as being a Picky Pete.

cute

(+2)

hey! please add a colorblind mode! i can't really play the glorb zibnus stage because the snails are too hard to differentiate :(

(+6)

Thanks for the heads up! Will do so! The game was initially just made for a few friends and I wasn't expecting it to blow up like this, so sorry for any oversights!

wdym you weren't expecting it to blow up, this game is awesome

One of the most fun games I've played in a while, will definetely buy it on Steam!
P.S. Oroshibu can you share that green glob dude animation when I score?? IT'S SO COOL

(+11)

sure

(+1)

Thank you!!!

(+1)

LMAO

(+1)

😭😭😭😂😂

I love it!

(+2)

very neat game, though i found it very easy to cheese 3 stars out of most levels by pinning the main cue and painting one of my own snails white as the rival npc will tend to use the pinned snail still

(+2)

This is actually such a smart play omg

Nail is great stalling but can backfire. The ghost card also works on the white snail and the AI will often keep firing at full power into pockets for +10 score with 0 risk.

(+2)

Hi! We played your game on stream and really enjoyed it!

The game is great fun, but found a bug. The boss refused to make a move after the cue snail fell in a hole.

Screenshot of where the game is stuck now.

noted. thanks you for the report!

is that Dr. House T_T

This is SO GOOD!! Very addicting and challenging. Love the art, animations, sound effects, etc. It's got it all.

(+1)

Tried out the new patch for a few rounds. The visual helper is a great addition and all the new gnomes look nice. All my 100% progress also got saved so thanks for that, it works lol.

(+1)(-1)

Love the game! I really like the artstyle and how goofy it is with the characters, house caught me off guard

Could there be a possible mode added that is somewhat like a rougelike? like you start off with basic cards or abilities, and have to beat opponents to get new abilities or cards added to your hands, then finally like a hard boss based around a gimmick like the standard characters, could add some more replayability for when it comes to steam

that would be awesome, like Balatro

(+1)

Incredibly polished, and feels great to play! The house joke got a good laugh out of me.

(+1)

This is simply amazing and really inspiring

(+1)

Wow! this is the best game which i found on itch!  I am looking forward to the release on steam. good luck for further development!

So juicy!!

(+1)

Hey! This game is just super super super amazing! The opponents and stages are so unique and it feels totally fun. The sound when the snails crash is incredibly satisfying. I especially love the alien's animations!
It is such a great game experience, nya~! 🐾

Thank you!! I loved your videos on Maerl Bay and on Snailshock!! <3

This game slaps so hard. I was out playing pool today for the first time in years and remembered how fun it is. Came home, checked out itch.io, and this popped up. It hits all the marks for me. Bravo!

found a bug where the cue line and ruler get frozen on the screen. I'm loving the game otherwise thanks for creating!

(+1)

Hello! Thanks for the report however this would mean you are playing on a previous version of the game, please download the latest build! :)

(+1)

ah my mistake, thanks

I fucking love this game! It's so funny and also really really complex in a way I really like.

I got soft locked !

The computer used the dice before using the cue ball. One of the snails had the repellent card on it. The snail moved and the cue ended in a pocket.

The computer never played and I had to restart

noted. thanks you for the report!

Bro, this game trully amazed me. A friend of mine told me bout itch.io and I went here and saw this game.

As I saw it was only 60mb I though this would be a silly 20 min game but heLl na I was wrong.

Im the kind of gamer who beats games with lower % of played them. When there are some kind of star sistems usually I just do the stars I need but hell no ima get all stars in this masterpiece.

If u are reading this thinking bout downloading it do it. I would've paid at least 10$ for this and u got it free.

y the way I made this account just to tell yall to download it so do it cmon

(+1)

After 13 hours I beat the game 100% and got all 48 stars and the 3 golden gnomes.

From that experience I really suggest you don't make the Gnome Award popup every time you beat a stage 6 boss because that unskippable dialogue gets a bit annoying while going for a 3 star run on hard/long maps.

Also found a bug where it I would always get the last golden gnome popup despite only having 17/18 stars in the tag team tournament when ending last stage with another 2 star run.

Insanely fun and unique charming game.

(+2)

Oh. my. god. that's awesome. and crazy. You might be the first one who completed the entire game!!

Thank you for the bug report! It will be fixed in the next patch.

Here's what I'm also gonna add in the next patch 👇

It was a widely requested feature. I'm also gonna make each trophy have its own unique sprite.

Oh yeah I've seen you mention it to other people and I feel like this will be great for the game. It's how I got really insane angles and trickshots when playing the billiard minigame in Super Monkey Ball with friends.

(1 edit) (+2)

i hope you can release this on Steam one day, this game is really fun!

edit: i just finish all the challenges, i love it

this game looks amazing.

I'm absolutely obsessed with how the title is said the start of the game.

I loved this games presentation and the gameplay is solid.  The cards could use some improvement - many games I got stuck in a loop of being dealt highly situational dice mod cards.  Maybe some of those dice cards could be combined and we can get other high impact cards added.  Stage specific cards and cards which add to / alter the playing field are the first things to come to mind.

This game was AMAZING!! i had a very good time playing it, it's very funny!! 10/10
